Why Restaurants Should Provide Crayons

Jay's bossy bitch post reminded me of this little piece I did on Snowdrop's birthday last year. I think the restaurant management meant for the crayons and paper tablecloth to serve as amusement for kids. :)

For the more anal of my readers - please, TRY to ignore the oil stains. It adds a nice touch of authenticity, methinks!

The Secret Recipe cake was provided by Snowie's friends who pakated with me earlier to arrange for a surprise delivery.

Oh dear. November is coming up soon...

It's cool that the restaurant has crayons - I concur, all restaurants should provide crayons for the entertainment of adults and children alike :)

Dear Spot

Well, at least there's a post, after like, more than a week.

I hope your new blog can be launched soon.

And yeah, snowdrop must be really generous if she doesn't mind her age being publicly announced!

relax, folks, i have NOTHING to hide! *proud peacock face* (eer, except my human name, human face, place of work, place of residence...)

oh, and i'd seen the pic before it was posted. at first i went "hoi!" in my mind, then i thought whathehey, i like my life better now than when i was, say, a decade younger. let's show the younger folk life does not stop at 30 :)

also ah, for future reference, spotty dear is only three years younger [2 1/3, if you wanna be technical], so if you hear any talk about cradle snatching (and you WILL, at some stage, trust me)... well, bear in mind it was a rather OLD cradle. AND it was also more a case of the cradle doing the snatching!

My boyfriend's 3 years younger too.
My best friend addresses him as ToyBoy. And the name stuck. The things you have to endure when you're the 'older woman'. Tsk tsk.

Happy Berfday in advance! :)

box - there's hope for me then, despite my checkered trackrecord.

scandalised readers - *smug peacock face* )B

a. - maybe we should bring our own crayons to recalcitrant restaurants and leave them love notes on their serviettes.

derek - yeah, quite the cop-out eh? short-attention-span me has also lost steam on the tinkersite. for now.

wandernut - i like to pronounce it as "fox pox", literal spelling notwithstanding. oh, and you cradle snatcher osso hor? :B

asmadi - and she even revealed the age gap herself, voluntarily. crown the girl!

snowie - sweetie, the baby was in its twenties when it jumped out of the cradle and grabbed you. but who was in her thirties already by then? :B

you know who wears the diapers at home, eh?

Snowy and I are the same age! Can't type anymore...my arthritis is acting up. : )

Darlings, people in their thirties are the most fabulous of all!

Look at Sex and the City and Desperate Housewives. Would they be hits if they weren't shows about people in their thirties? Even Friends had their best seasons in their thirties. You go snowie!

Caveat: Unless you're gay, of course. In which case crossing the 30 threshold is like sounding the death knell.

Fabulous crayola drawing though!
