...that the family photographs that will be taken at my brother's marriage registration tomorrow will not include Snowie.
...that we will be seated at different tables during the wedding dinner in April.
...that I have to be brave and reasonable and practical and restrain myself from hand-cuffing myself to Snowie's legs and beg her not to apply for that almost guaranteed job and relocate to Manila.
...that I can't just pack up and relocate to Manila as well without uncomfortable questions being asked by my parents.
...that Snowie refuses to be a sugar mummy even though she damn well would be able to afford it if she got the job!!! ~>(
...that I wouldn't be able to live with myself if she turned down an opportunity to work with a world agency and earn stackloads of $$ (USD, for the love of all that is good and monetary!! ka-ching! ka-ching! ka-ching!), just because of me.
...that actually, she doesn't wanna go, and it's me (who else) who's telling her to put emotions aside. So if we're pining in abject misery later on, it's my own fault, innit?
Can you at least buy me a Playstation before you go? :B
After all, "Do you like having sex? Don't get Nintendo."# would no longer be applicable if you went to bloody Manila would it??!
*grump. hrummph*
~~>(
# From the movie "Prime", starring Uma Thurman and Meryl Streep. Oh what a brilliant scene - where Uma, all long-legged loveliness and wearing ONLY a shirt, frustratedly asks "Are you coming to bed?!!!" as Bryan Greenberg twiddles his Nintendo joystick.

"...that I can't just pack up and relocate to Manila as well without uncomfortable questions being asked by my parents."
THAT'S your only excuse for not packing things up and living the life of a tai-tai, a life I can only dream of?!
Can't you say it was you who got the cushy job?
Ouch. It would be difficult to move all the way without exciting suspicion but the world isn't all that big anymore and I'm sure Airasia would fly you there on the cheap.
Paul
what can i say, but ST!!!!!!!!!!!!!NKKKKKK!!!!!
still no news from the flower, btw, so maybe no manila job to worry about after all.
snowie, all alone tonight as spot goes to the wedding in singapore.
p/s: is airasia REALLY safe to fly???
I really do suggest you get spot a playstation, snowie! You know, keep spot occupied and all...
P/s: I won't give guarantees but I have been flying AirAsia for two years now and erm... I'm still here. For now.
just go with the flow, peoples... go with the flow...
Snowie....if you do get the job and go to Manila-land, we will miss you loads.
Spot, don't worry....me and the piglets will still have our "makan parties". You can come over and we can set up our webcam and Snowie can still have makan-makan with us ...So ok I cannot help you out with the sex part...hehe.....
Yes, please go get a Playstation. Then I can come over and play too....See? What a friend!
tahulah anda everytime you go away i will come here again and again just as some form of 'connection' to you? so sad, hor?
:(
p/s - ok lah, playstation it is for you. but what will I do all alone in faraway manilaland?
me again. looks like no one's willing to babysit you, baby (clever pple! heh)
how lidat?
Awww Spot, chin up! I may be horribly jaded & a bitch princess but I still believe true love will hold. Besides think of all the day long sex marathons you could have when you guys do meet!
That being said, money isn't everything but it is substantial...
Aiyoh damn poor thing lah you.
But you know what they say - "If you love someone let them go to Manila to earn a lot of money to send home to you so you can live like a tai-tai."
asmadi - I know!...kaa-ching$$$$! :D
starlight & paul - No budget airline for chicken-hearted me (cost-cutting on maintenance is not unheard)...if I can't live the tai-tai lifestyle I'd hope that my plane ticket will at least be subsidised! Heh.
will - Hmmm. Now there's a thought...
weeshiong - yay! you rock. yes, i'm very generous with praise. that toothbrush poem REALLY rocks. ;)
hedo - the current of the USD$ river very strong leh...hey...maybe you should kidnap her only after she starts making all that $$$. higher ransom.
boobjuicer - You can babysit me! *since nobody else wants to. sulk*
snowie - :* Well. Lucky got this blog hor? Let's hope next year it won't be filled with I miss youuuuuuu...posts. everyone will be sick.
Btw, forget playstation, I want the drum kit arcade game instead.
AJ - Oh, it certainly is, when it comes in bloody effin USD. :D
Jay - Wannabe tai-tais of the world, unite!
I'm so shallow. I don't care.
Really, I don't.
Snorfle.
but but but.... u mean you wanna play the drums without ME? >*
hopefully you'll be getting that other sponsorship la, and won't be left all alone here... kesian boobjuicer otherwise!
:*
aiyoo...poor thing. :( i feel for you.
No worries! How about I babysit you babysitting my piglets? Heheh....you can bring your drums too. And I can pretend to be rock star drummer mummy.:D
OH NO! If Snowie goes to Manila, what about her masak-masak posts? HOW CAN!
Poor spottieeee....
wandernut: i will be sooooooo bored in manila, i will have to masak-masak even more!!! maybe even enough to have my own blog - or guestblog here (if spot will let me)! but all the same... I DUN WANNA GOOOOOO.... :'((
Oh wow. Your situation is almost like mine. I would love to work here too and spent time with CF, but if I get a job there - the money, work experience, etc .. I will go.
But as they say, absense makes the heart grow fonder. And there's webcam and skype now ...
All the best to the both of you, spot and snowie.
