Raincheck

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Seminar all day
This'll just have to do.

What's the most unromantic thing you've ever received/gotten for Valentine's Day?

I gave Snowie a set of dark blue bedsheets the first year. For a single bed. :)

She like mah.

my most unromantic v's day gift was a break-up! now who can top that? but erm, come to think of it, it's actually MY gift to him! kakaka...

omg... u have no idea how great bedsheets are! but then again.. noone i know has a bedsheet fetish like me.. hahahaha

most unromantic gift: a box of transparent diskettes. but that was back in '98 when transparent diskettes were unheard of except in the mission impossible movie, so yeah the gift was pretty cool for awhile.

Maybe I'm getting old (OK, I know I'm getting old) but bedsheets sound like a marvellous present to me.

But not for a single bed, of course. I like to roll around :-p

Thanks for the V-Day wishes, Spot.

Hope you two had a great time yesterday at the Times Bookstore. ;P

CF and I just dinner and watched Prime. The movie was quite good and funny actually and the ending was practical. Go watch it with Snowie ;P

pickyin - I think so too. My friend was complaining about receiving a Touch & Go card from her fiance for her birthday, I was thinking "what an excellent present!"

sue - Hands down, you win!

hedo - Quite a fetish there, indeed. Changing bedsheets every week. Eeek!

ws - Thanks. We had a crappy dinner and made ourselves comfy in a bookshop. So romance!

lotsachi - Credit cards are practical too.

boobs - Wah, you SO romance! And no, the equation was more like singlebedsheet=singlebed=get-your-elbow-outta-my-face.

jay - The difference with us discerning oldies is that the sheets should have a squillion thread-count. Preferably Egyptian cotton.

derek - Will keep in mind.

wandernut - Still regretting not coming to woof at you and D, sob! :D

snowie - I'm still waiting, you know....tap tap tap....

unromantic? chee, never had the chance to celebrate it. ah yes, always fought with the ex; sorry, i'm a big baby but i love occassions.

though last year an old friend got me the most wonderful gift ever - books on sufism. i consider that romantic though.
